Update from Megan (2), 19 Oct

Family, Dr. Salimi returned to tell us that he and Dr. Rana agreed that Grandma is not a candidate for chemotherapy. At her age and state of health, they believe it would do more harm than good. Dr. Rana stopped by shortly thereafter to see if we had any questions she could answer and to let us know that she strongly recommends hospice care. I asked if she knew what Grandma's life expectancy would be, as we had family who are making travel arrangements. Dr. Rana recommends visitors make plans to come very soon, as she believes Grandma will live fewer than three months. Megan
