Update from Megan (via Alan), 17 Oct

Dr. Vu came in at 8:45 a.m. and met with Jonah, Lang, Keeng and Megan. He said that Grandma is breathing better, less wheezing, and as a result, may resume blood pressure medicine. Blood pressure medicine should help reduce the heart rate, which has been slightly high. Grandma's electrolytes have been low so they will be hanging a bag for Magnesium and Potassium. Keeng noticed some tight muscles in Grandma's leg; Dr. Vu mentioned that low electrolytes can cause muscle spasms. The IV electrolytes should help with this. A chest X-ray was done this morning to follow up with the fluid in the lungs. Dr. Vu expects to have that report back this afternoon. The cytology report is not back yet. Dr. Vu will be checking with the lab. Megan does not have access to a computer this morning so she transcribed these notes to me. Also, she asked that I tell you that her cell phone is low on charge so you might go straight to her voice mail should you call. Alan
