It's been only three days since I last saw Grandma, but it's obvious that her condition has worsened. Her breathing is very labored. The morphine (4 mg administered 1.5 hrs ago) and breathing treatment (administered 1 hr ago) don't have as much of an effect as they used to. In case you weren't already aware, morphine not only helps with pain but is also indicated when there is breathing difficulty.
