Update from Jonah, 18 Oct

11:45 pm follow-up: I should have mentioned that it was secondhand information earlier. Keeng gave Mom a Vicks massage 30 minutes ago. She said out loud at several points that it was painful when Keeng worked on her toes. Later her BP was 140/78 probably because of the massage. We then gave her about 10 cc of Ensure. She said that it was messy when some leaked out the left corner of her mouth. She kept complaining even though we thought we have cleaned it up. We decided not to overdo the feeding using the syringe. While Keeng was doing a better job of cleaning up she commented that the kids ignored her. We had a little argument going for a while, just like the night in the holding area. (She asserted, in Mandarin, that we must say that everything tastes good.) Lang reported that when the children visited earlier this afternoon Mom called out Jonathan's name. Jonathan and the girls were not their usual noisy selves. Mom could also be missing the hugs that she usually got when the kids visited Ing's house. Take care. Love, jonah
